Belinka Perkemija at the International ChemInno 2026 Event

On May 5, 2026, representatives of Belinka Perkemija attended the international ChemInno 2026 event, organized in Belgrade by the Institute of General and Physical Chemistry (IOFH) on the occasion of its 65th anniversary. The special invitation from the institute’s director, Prof. Dr. Stevan Blagojević, is regarded as an important recognition of our work and expertise in the development of innovative chemical solutions.

The event brought together numerous renowned researchers and industry representatives from various countries. Presentations covered a wide range of fields, from medical, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic chemistry to industrial, forensic, and analytical chemistry, offering insights into the latest research developments and trends.

A highlight of the event was the presentation by our Head of Development, Andrej Podkoritnik, who showcased the company’s development activities in the field of detergents and introduced our innovative, patented detergent PerHealth. A significant part of the presentation was also dedicated to the European HYPER project, whose results and objectives were presented to the international professional audience, thereby contributing to its broader recognition.

The HYPER project is co-funded by the European Union and focuses on the development of an innovative technology for the fully green electrochemical production of hydrogen peroxide – a chemical widely used in various industrial processes. The project’s main objective is to reduce the environmental footprint of production and to develop a sustainable alternative to existing energy-intensive processes. Participation in such a project represents an important integration of Belinka Perkemija into the European research area and an active contribution to the development of advanced and environmentally friendly technological solutions.

Attendance at the ChemInno 2026 event was also made possible with the support of the HYPER project, highlighting the importance of EU-funded initiatives in facilitating knowledge transfer, fostering collaboration between industry and science, and supporting the internationalization of corporate development activities.

The event also provided an opportunity to establish new contacts and explore possibilities for future collaborations, particularly in terms of the commercialization of our development products.

At the end of the conference, we received a special recognition – a certificate of appreciation from IOFH for our outstanding support and contribution to the successful organization of the event, further confirming the active role of our company in the international arena.

By participating in ChemInno 2026, we once again demonstrated our commitment to innovation and to connecting knowledge, research, and industry in the development of solutions for the future.
