Safety First – Firefighting and Rescue Drill at Belinka Perkemija

On Wednesday, November 5, Belinka Perkemija carried out a sectoral firefighting and rescue drill “SEVER 2025,” aimed at testing the readiness and coordinated action of internal and external forces for protection, rescue, and assistance.

The drill was based on the assumption of an accident in the production unit and warehouse area of the company, with activities taking place in the company’s yard. Participants included members of the Ljubljana Firefighting Association Command, the Support Unit of the Ljubljana Firefighting Association, Ljubljana Fire Brigade, volunteer fire brigades from the northern sector of the Ljubljana Firefighting Association, the UKC Ljubljana Rescue Station, Emergency Medical Service, Ljubljana Health Center, Civil Protection of the City Municipality of Ljubljana, the Department for Protection and Rescue of the City Municipality of Ljubljana, and the Belinka Volunteer Industrial Fire Brigade, who together with employees simulated a response to an emergency event.

The goal of the drill was to practically verify the readiness, efficiency, and mutual coordination of all participants, in accordance with protection and rescue plans.

In the event of a real accident, we advise all residents in the vicinity to avoid the area, close windows and doors in their homes, and turn off ventilation systems that draw air from outside.

Drills like this are crucial for strengthening preparedness, improving crisis response, and reinforcing the company’s commitment to the safety of people and the environment.

We thank all participants for their dedication, professionalism, and cooperation.
