The ISO 14001 Environmental Management System Certificate demonstrates the company’s compliance with environmental legislation and confirms our efforts to act responsibly towards the environment, particularly in the areas of more efficient use of resources and reduction of waste and emissions. The established environmental management system encourages us to continuously improve and upgrade existing processes.

We follow European and global regulations that encourage the adoption of cleaner technologies. In developing new advanced products, we are committed to the principles of sustainable development, including efforts to reduce energy consumption. Our company produces hydrogen peroxide, a versatile chemical with a wide range of applications. During use, it decomposes into oxygen and water.

In 2021, the first solar power plant began operating at the company’s site, and at the beginning of 2025, we built another solar power plant. The solar power plants with solar collectors, which are among the most modern and powerful, represent an important part of Belinka Perkemija’s efforts to reduce the company’s carbon footprint. The location also has the potential for electricity production through cogeneration (SPTE).

At Belinka Perkemija, we are gradually expanding the use of electric and hybrid vehicles within our company car fleet. To support this transition, we have also installed e-charging stations at our premises. These measures are part of our efforts to reduce the use of fossil fuels in company mobility and increase the use of lower-emission mobility solutions.
