We are proud to announce that we received a silver rating for sustainable performance from EcoVadis in 2025. This result ranks us among the top 15 percent of companies worldwide participating in this sustainable business assessment challenge. EcoVadis analyzed 21 aspects of our company, divided into four categories: environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. The rating we received reflects the quality of our sustainable responsibility management system at the time of the assessment.

The rating obtained is very important for our current and future business and successful partnership with suppliers, as it enables us to meet future requirements today.

The ISO 14001 Environmental Management System Certificate demonstrates the company’s compliance with environmental legislation and confirms our efforts to act responsibly towards the environment, particularly in the areas of more efficient use of resources and reduction of waste and emissions. The established environmental management system encourages us to continuously improve and upgrade existing processes.

We comply with European and global legislation requiring the introduction of cleaner and more environmentally friendly technologies. When developing new advanced products, we are committed to the principles of sustainable development, such as reducing energy consumption and environmental impact. Our company produces hydrogen peroxide, which is a green and versatile chemical. During its operation, it breaks down into environmentally friendly end products (oxygen and water) and does not accumulate in the body.

In 2021, the first solar power plant began operating at the company’s site, and at the beginning of 2025, we built another solar power plant. The solar power plants with solar collectors, which are among the most modern and powerful, represent an important part of Belinka Perkemija’s efforts towards sustainable development and reducing the company’s carbon footprint. The location also has the potential for electricity production through cogeneration (SPTE).

At Belinka Perkemija, we are aware that the use of renewable energy sources significantly contributes to reducing our environmental impact. Since e-mobility is based on green energy and reducing carbon footprint and noise, we have dedicated part of our fleet of company vehicles to more environmentally friendly electric and hybrid vehicles and e-charging stations.
